How do you turn your dissertation intoa book? What does a book look like versus a dissertation? Come to hear our discussion and give feedback to Assistant Professor Zelidth Maria Rivas, Department of Modern Languages at Marshall University who is sharing her book proposal and book chapters for this workshop. Even if your research areas are not about Latin America, Japanese diaspora, Latina/o Studies, Asian American Studies, or Brazillian literature and culture, come to discuss and hear some general suggestions about the purpose, readership, components, and the submission process of book proosals and manucripts.
