WABE celebrates Asian Pacific Heritage Month with Crossing East, an eight-part documentary hosted by George Takei and Margaret Cho. This is the first comprehensive Asian American history series on public radio, and features untold stories of Asian immigration from pre-America to post-9/11. Eight one-hour documentaries focus on the many waves of Asian immigration into this country and the impact it has had on descendants, global ties, and the making of America. Series continues through June 20.
