Saint Peter's College invites applications and nominations for the position of:

DIRECTOR OF MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS
Reporting to the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director of Multicultural Affairs is responsible for fostering the development of activities, policies, procedures, and persistence and success programs, which enhance campus diversity and multicultural student engagement; collaborating with various academic and administrative departments to develop and maintain a living and learning environment that is inclusive and responsive to diversity and prepares students to lead in a multicultural world; serving as a liaison with various community and minority/ multicultural organizations; and participating in crisis intervention and problem-solving, and student leadership development, particularly in matters involving multicultural/minority student concerns.

Qualified candidates will possess knowledge of issues confronting multicultural students in society and on college campuses, especially in urban areas. Grant writing and computer abilities are required, as well as skill in staff supervision and conflict resolution.

for submission of an application is May 25, 2006. All applicants
