Translators Needed for Student Assessment Tests

The American Institutes for Research, a non-profit educational research firm (www.air.org ) is helping the Ohio Department of Education administer its annual elementary student assessments. They need translators to help students translate tests that are printed in English to their native language. Ohio has a very diverse elementary student population; there are requests for translators in over 100 different languages. AIR pays $75 per translation session, which usually lasts 2-3 hours. They also reimburse the costs of transportation to local school districts and the cost of one meal for the day.
