Research Study Opportunity for Asian American students: $10 Reward

Posted on: 02/19/2006

Professor Li Gong and Eliza Liu of the School of Communication at the Ohio State University are conducing a research project on ethnicities and media. They are short of Asian American participants. If you are Asian American and an OSU student, you are eligible. You will be paid $10 in cash upon completing the study. Act now because we will close the study as soon as we get 80 participants.

The study consists of two parts which take about an hour in total. You need to complete both parts to receive the $10. Part 1 is an online questionnaire you can fill out on any computer as long as you have stable Internet connection and no disturbance in the environment. You will need to complete the questionnaire on your own without discussion with others or other interruptions. Complete the questionnaire in one time bloc to avoid the server to close the questionnaire session prematurely if there is extended inactivity in your browser.

At the end of the questionnaire you will enter your name, email address, and general available times for coming to a lab in Journalism Building for participating in Part 2. Eliza Liu (liu.323@osu.edu) will email you to schedule Part 2 participation in about 1 week and notify you the specific time and location. The whole study will be finished before Week 10 this quarter. You will be paid $10 in cash at the end of Part II. One person can take the study only once.
