AFTI Scholarship (Deadline: June 1, 2006)
The American Foundation for Translation and Interpretation, Inc. (AFTI) will offer one scholarship to a student enrolled in or planning to enroll in a graduate or undergraduate program in scientific and technical translation or interpretation at an accredited US college or university.
The $2,500 non-renewable scholarship will be for a student enrolled in or planning to enroll in a program of scientific and technical translation or in an interpreter training program for the 2006-2007 academic year. Applicants must be US citizens and full-time students who have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and have at least one year of academic work remaining to complete their program of study in translation or interpretation. Preference will be given to students in BA/BS, MA and PhD granting programs.
