Call for OCA-Columbus Chapter Awards Nominations

We would like your help in nominating candidates for the Achievement Award, Community Leadership Award, and Corporate Leadership Award. Details are below.
You do not have to be an OCA member to make the nomination. All you need to do is to email me a brief resume or relevant information of the candidate with your email describing the candidate's accomplishments, and your telephone number. If you do not have the resume, we will contact you and other people to gather more information about the candidate. Note that the candidate can be an individual or a corporation/business.
We have a tight timeline for this project. The deadline for nomination is March 7. We will finish collecting all missing information on the candidates on March 13, and meet from March 14-20 to deliberate. The recipient list will be submitted to the Board for approval on March 21.

Organization of Chinese Americans-Columbus Chapter Awards
1) Achievement Award
• The Achievement Award is given to an individual who has attained certain status or recognition in a particular field. A nomination or recommendation letter from someone in the candidate’s similar field is required.
2) Community Leadership Award
• The Community Leadership Award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and has made substantial contributions physically, financially, or spiritually in the region or the society. A nomination or recommendation letter from someone who is familiar with the individual and/or the contributions is required.
3) Corporate Leadership Award
• The Corporate Leadership Award is given to a corporation or a group which has provided outstanding contributions to the community within or outside the mid Ohio region. A nomination or recommendation letter from someone who is familiar with the group and/or the contributions is required.
